Andrea Jeremiah is the latest to join the ensemble cast of Vijay’s next, tentatively titled Thalapathy 64. The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, now basking in the success of his Deepavali release Kaithi with Karthi.
And Vijay, whose Bigil is rocking the box office, has already commenced the shoot of this movie in the city. The first schedule shoot of the new age gangster movie is said to have been completed and the next schedule is to take place in Delhi.
As Vijay’s pair, the movie has Malavika Mohanan of Beyond the Clouds fame who was seen in a small yet powerful role in Rajinikanth’s Petta. Andrea will be seen in a key character. Interestingly, Vijay Sethupathi is said to be the main antagonist to Vijay. Malayalam actor Antony Varghese and Shantanu Bhagyaraj play crucial roles. Lokesh has retained his technicians from Kaithi namely Sathyan Sooryan behind the camera and Philomin Raj in editing.
