Sameer Bharat Ram, the co-producer of the film Uriyadi, which garnered critical acclaim from the audience around the country, is coming out with his another project under his production banner Supertalkies. In a chat with us, he reveals about the new project yet-to-be titled film, which is in its nascent stage.
“Balu Sharma, the one who co-wrote and co-directed Pelli Chupulu, is directing the new movie. He has been working as a script consultant, and has worked on a lot of scripts in Telugu. He had a very interesting script for a rom-com which I listened to last week — and I have decided to produce it.”
Talking more about the project, he says, “We are making it into a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. It is a urban love story about the drama that happens between a newly-married couple. It will be a comedy flick.”
Sameer says they are still working around the casting process —“Nothing has been decided yet. But we are looking at a cast that is suitable for both Tamil and Telugu markets, which is going to be hard to get.”
Neetho might be the Telugu title of the flick and the makers are yet to come up with a Tamil title. The film will hit floors in January or February next year.
