Tollywood actor Sharwanand made his debut in Tamil with an award winning film Engeyum Eppodhum and was later seen in Cheran's JK Ennum Nanbani Vazhkai. He returns to K'town after a gap with a film produced by Dream warrior Pictures. Pelli Chooplu fame Ritu Varma, whose debut Tamil film Dhuruva Natchathiram is yet to hit the screens, has been roped in as the female lead. Directed by Srikarthik, the untitled film has Nasser, Sathish and Ramesh Thilak in supporting cast.
Speaking about the film, their 18th venture, producer SR Prabhu says, “The film is a family commercial drama revolving around friendship, love and bond shared with the mother.” Jakes Bijoy and Sujith Sarang, critically acclaimed for the music and cinematography for Dhruvangal Padhinaru, have been brought on board for the new movie.
The film went on floors on Wednesday and is scheduled to release during summer 2020. Prabhu revealed that his present production Kaidhi starring Karthi would hit the screens during Deepavali, locking horns with Vijay’s Bigil.
