Trying new-age roles is not new to actor Suriya. The Singam star knows the knack of striking a balance between commercial films and experimental ones. Suriya, who is currently shooting for director Hari’s S3, recently announced that his next film will be directed by Pa Ranjith. Now, according to reports, the 24 actor will be essaying the role of a boxer in the film! It is also overheard that the actor will undergo professional training to fit the role. However, when DC contacted Suriya, he refused to divulge any details about the film as it is still in the nascent stage. “It is too early to talk about the project right now,” he stated.
Sources add that Pa Ranjith is now fine-tuning his script and the official announcement regarding the film would be announced soon. The yet-untitled project will be produced by KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green, and is expected to start rolling later this year.
