Bollywood actress Isha Koppikar, who has been paired opposite actors like Arvind Swamy, Vijay, Prashanth and Vijayakanth in the past, is returning to Tamil cinema after a 17-year-long hiatus. She was last seen with actor Vijayakanth in Narasimha.
Sources reveal that she will soon be seen playing a crucial role in Sivakarthikeyan’s next, in which he is paired opposite Rakul Preet Singh. The movie, touted to be a sci-fi flick, went on floors on Wednesday. It is being directed by Ravikumar of Indru Netru Naalai fame and produced by R.D. Raja, for whom Sivakarthikeyan has delivered back-to-back hits Remo and Velaikkaran. Oscar-winner A.R. Rahman has been roped in to compose music for the film.
Talking upon this ambitious project, R.D. Raja says, “As a producer, I was so inspired by Ravikumar’s wizardry and innovativeness when listening to the narration of the script. And it was a proud moment when A.R. Rahman sir was brought on board.”
