Director Ashwin Saravanan made a mark in the industry with his debut film, Maya, a horror film with Nayanthara playing the titular character. The film broke many horror-film stereotypes and went on to become one of the best films of 2015.
The director is now busy shooting for his second directorial venture. Actors SJ Suryah and Sshivada Nair have been roped in to play the lead roles in the movie. Speaking to DC, SJ Suryah says, “This yet-to-be-titled film is a romantic thriller and the shooting is currently underway in the city. Ashwin is a trendy director and he has already given a hit with Nayanthara. I am excited to work on this project.”
While Sshivada was unavailable for comment, a source close to the team confirmed her inclusion and added that she is also part of the ongoing schedule in Chennai.
Composer Ron Yohann, who made his debut alongside Ashwin in Maya, will be scoring music for this venture. According to sources, the composing session has already begun and the team has locked in three songs for the movie. An official confirmation regarding the rest of the cast and crew will be announced soon.
