Director Rajesh got the opportunity to direct his debut film Siva Manasula Sakthi after he impressed the producers with a mini-demo video.
Now, following in his footsteps, Kumaran, a popular talent in the short film circuit, has made a music video for his upcoming flick Oru Kadhalin Pudhu Payanam and impressed with it — producer Ilaya Arasan, has agreed to bankroll the project!
Talking about the album, Kumaran said, “Though I have a few award-winning short films to my credit, it was not that easy to get a producer for my script Oru Kadhalin Pudhu Payanam. So, I decided to make a small music video, which will visually narrate the script. Today, my effort has paid off.”
While Parvathy and Rex play the leads in the album, the film has actor Prajin as the hero and Nishanth as the villain. The makers are yet to find a heroine for the movie.
All those present at the launch of the four-minute album, including director Ponram and character artist Mime Gopi, were raving about the making.
