Mahesh debuted with a film Angadi Theru with Anjali, which was a huge, hit. While the film brought Anjali to limelight, Mahesh is still a struggling actor despite being a good performer and hero material. Now, the actor is pinning all hopes on his upcoming flick En Kadhali Scene Podra, based on a true incident.
Directed by Ram Seva who earlier gave Tea Kadai Bench with Ramakrishnan, the film has Shalu romancing Mahesh.
Speaking to DC, Ram Seva says, “I took inspiration from a real life occurrence and EKSP is a fun filled comedy caper. Mahesh has attempted at comedy and has given an awesome feat. We have completed the film in 23 days time.”
Besides the lead pair, the film has Manobala, Aadukalam Naren, Ambani Shankar, Diya, Thennavan, Vaiyapuri in supporting roles. Actor Gokul appears in an important character. Amrish has scored the music. After Chinna Machchan, which was a huge hit, the star singer couple Senthil- Rajalakshmi has been roped in for a song Nila Kallu Sedhukiya Silayaa in EKSP.
