Ram Charan and Priyanka Chopra-starrer Thoofan to be dubbed in Tamil

The film was actually a remake of Amitabh Bachchan's blockbuster 1973 B'town movie, also called Zanjeer.

Ram Charan and Priyanka Chopra’s Tollywood movie Thoofan which was also made in Hindi as Zanjeer is being dubbed in Tamil as Super Police and will be hitting the screens on January 7. The film was actually a remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s blockbuster 1973 B’town movie, also called Zanjeer. In the new version, Sanjay Dutt and Prakash Raj played crucial roles.
Badrakali Films, who have bought the Tamil dubbing rights, want to cash in on Ram Charan’s craze in Tamil Nadu, even though the movie received mixed reviews from critics. We hear the movie has got more than 200 screens for its release in TN.
