Tollywood star Mahesh Babu called on Tamil actor Simbu on the sets of Vandha Rajavathaan Varuven directed by Sundar C in Hyderabad. Prince Mahesh was shooting for his film Maharshi in the adjoining set at Ramoji Rao Film City. It was just a courtesy call, an inside source revealed even as the picture of the two young stars in casual conversation has gone viral.
Meanwhile, there were rumours Vandha Rajavathaan Varuven may not hit the marquee on Pongal day. Earlier, STR had put an end to speculation through a statement that VRV will be releasing during Pongal 2019. Yet another video clip has been released where Simbu is seen driving a jeep with Mega Akash, the heroine of the film and Robo Shankar and shouting ‘See you on Ponagl’ reassuring about the film’s release.
