Thulam is another movie which talks about drug addicts and how college students become victims of a drug racket run by anti-social elements. Directed by Raja Nagajyothi, the lead pair is played by Vivadh and Jayashree from Bengaluru.
Talking about his film, Nagajyothi said, “A lot of research work has gone before I started penning the script. I also visited a few real life drug addicts whose lives have gone into shambles and they felt the need for redemption.”
“He adds, “I am also touching upon the issue of how our laws bend for affluent people who go scot free after committing crimes and how innocents are victimised. “
Actress Sonia Agarwal, who unveiled the audio, was all praise for the sonorous music composed by Alex Premnath. Impressed with the mother sentiment song Pettha Usiru Rattha Usiru, Sonia said it would work well with the audiences.
