Tamil cinema is quick to notice a talent from TV. And more often anchors from TV channels have transformed into film actors. Divya Dharshini, Ma Ka Pa Anandh, and Siva Karthikeyan are few such examples. Joining the bandwagon is Jacqueline, who is pretty popular for hosting a popular comedy reality show. The anchor has now got the ticket to move from small screen to silver screen.
The anchor is now part of Nayanthara’s upcoming film Kolamavu Kokila (aka) CoCo. According to a source close to the film’s unit, Jacqueline will be playing the role of Nayanthara’s younger sister in the movie. The film directed by Nelson, has Anirudh Ravichander playing the music.
Lyca Production is bankrolling the film which has gone on floors in the first week of August. The film has no male leads and is touted to be a dark comedy flick. Looks like Jacqueline has bagged a biggie for her debut acting venture.
