Madhavan-Ritika starrer Irudhi Suttru directed by Sudha Kongara has been selected at the prestigious 29th Tokyo International Film Festival 2016. It is being screened at the World Focus section of the fest on September 31, October 1, and November 2 at different timings. One may recall Ritika Singh got a national award (special mention — jury) for her feisty performance.
Sudha who has started shooting for the remake of IS, titled Guru in Telugu with Venkatesh reprising Maddy’s role, says that she is extremely happy that the movie has made it to the international fest. “I am not sure if I will be attending the screening since we have planned Guru’s shoot in the coming months. Let’s see,” she shares.
