Veteran filmmaker/actor Bhagyaraj recently lashed out at actress Iniya, who did not turn up for the audio launch event of her upcoming flick Sathura Adi 3500.
The horror thriller is directed by debutant Joyson and has Nikhil Mohan in the lead with Iniya playing the central character and veteran actor Rahman in a key role.
Speaking at the event, Bhagyaraj said, “Even an actress like Meghna Mukesh, who has done a single song in the movie, is present here. By not attending the audio function, it is a loss only for her and not for the crew. It is the responsibility of every artiste to attend promotional activities.”
Director Rahul, who is presenting the movie, also seemed upset with Iniya. He said, “Despite the film being a female-centric one, Iniya did not even pick up the call when we called her. This irresponsible behaviour is unacceptable. Iniya is accountable to for a proper answer for her non-appearance to the film’s producer JSK Gopi.”
