Bobby Simhaa dons multiple characters
Actor Bobby Simhaa announced that he would be co-producing Vallavanukku Vallavan (VV) along with Sri Thenandal Films. This comedy drama features Bobby Simha and Sshivada of Nedunchalai fame in lead roles. VV is currently in post-production, and the team is planning to release the film in September.
On turning into a producer, Bobby says, “This movie was declined by a couple of producers, so I started my own production house as an emotional outburst.
When I asked for help, Sri Thenandal Films agreed to co-produce the film.” Being the hero of the film, Bobby will be seen in nine to ten different getups.
Elaborating, the Jigarthanda actor says, “This is the first time I am donning so many characters. It was a different experience for me. For some characters, we needed three hours to complete the make-up. Suresh, who helped with the make-up, has done a fantastic job. Each character has a different mindset and mood, and to imbibe them was challenging.”
According to director Vijay Tesingu, a lot of research has gone into the 10 characters shown on screen. He states, “Bobby Simhaa and Karunakaran are thieves in the movie and they will be seen in different getups at the crime scene. These characters will appear in the film as episodes which lasts for 10-15 minutes.”
The teaser of Vallavanukku Vallavan will be unveiled on August 2. Art director Vijay Murugan, Napoleon, Anandh Raj, Appukutty, and singer Anthony Dasan play supporting characters in the film. This is veteran actor Napoleon’s 100th film.
