Kangana brought in perfection'
Film buffs have been eagerly awaiting Thalaivi, a biopic on actress and the late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalithaa, starring Kangana Ranaut. While there has been a lot of pressure on the actress to deliver, producer Vishnu Vardhan Induri is all praise for her.
“She has tried to mouth Tamil dialogues and has also practised dance steps rigorously, as Jayalalithaa was very fond of dancing. We have a major portion of her dances too. Kangana has put in her 100 per cent, learning the different forms of dances for this film. She has brought perfection into every sphere of Jayalalithaa’s life. Now the last leg of the shoot remains,” he shares.
When asked whether politics will dominate the film, Induri reveals that since politics was such an integral part of Jayalalithaa’s life, audiences will see the same. “We are doing a biographical film of Jayalalithaa, so we will showcase her entire life. Politics being a part and parcel of her life, we definitely cannot skip it,” he asserts, adding that certain portions pertaining to the former CM’s political career is yet to be canned.
“Since the outbreak of coronavirus, we had to stop the shooting. Hoping to finish it as soon the situations turns favourable,” the producer updates.
