The latest buzz on STR is that he will soon be teaming up with Rathina Siva of Rekka fame. At the moment Simbu is busy with Mani Ratnam’s film Chekka Chivandha Vaanam . A picture of Simbu and Siva is making the rounds on twitter since Monday, leading to all the speculation about their pairing up.
When Siva was contacted, the director said nothing is confirmed yet. “I am still waiting for STR’s confirmation. It was only a friendly meeting with annan. Waiting to rock with my Thalaivan.”
CCV is expected to release later this year. Produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions, the movie has an ensemble cast including STR, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Aditi Rao. Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Thiagarajan and Mansoor Ali Khan are also in it. While AR Rahman scores the music while Santhosh Sivan cranks the camera.
