Soundararaja is an aspiring singer in Oru Kanavu Pola

Ramakrishnan (who did few films like Kungamapoovum Konjupuravum and then turned filmmaker) along with actor Soundararaja of Sundarapandiyan fame are coming together for a movie titled Oru Kanavu Pola, directed by Vijayshankar. A new find named Amala is being launched as the heroine. Speaking to DC, Soundararaja, who turns independent hero with this film, says, “The movie is about friendship and is an emotional drama. Director Vijayshankar who has worked in more than 50 films as a co-director wields the megaphone. He has given a psychological approach to the narration.”

While Soundar plays an aspiring singer, Ramakrishnan is a lorry driver in OKP. What happens when a girl enters their life forms the crux of the story, Soundar adds. Malayalam actor/filmmaker Madhupal has been roped in for a key character. Noted M’town cinematographer Azhagappan cranks the camera.
