Catherine and Arya to play tribals in their next
It looks like Catherine Tresa has become the toast of K’town. The Tollywood actress, who debuted with Madras in a de-glam role, sported a sexy avatar in the recently released Atharva-starrer Kanithan. Her clever move has paid off! She has been chosen to play the female lead opposite Arya in an untitled film. Raghavan, who garnered lot of attention for his debut film Manjapai, which was an emotional drama, will be wielding the megaphone. And, this time around, he has taken action adventure as the theme. It will be shot mostly in the dense forests of Kerala and Arya, who’s growing long hair, has already told DC that he would be sporting a new look.
When contacted, an excited Catherine says, “I can’t speak much about my role except for the fact that I play a tribal in the movie. I am happy that I am getting a variety of roles in each of my films.” Ask her about her looks in the film, she says, “Yes, it is a newfangled dimension.” Produced by Supergood Films, Yuvan Shankar Raja takes care of music and Dilip Subbarayan has been roped in as the stunt choreographer. The film will go on floors next month.
