A documentary titled A Creator with Midas Touch on the legendary writer, producer, director and lyricist Panchu Arunachalam is being made. It should be noted that he was the one who introduced maestro Ilayaraja to Tamil industry and even sculpted actors like Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan into superstars. Panchu has penned scripts for 45 films, screenplay and dialogues for 90 movies, lyrics for 300 songs, produced 45 flicks and has directed four films till date. As a tribute to the living legend, the 135-minute documentary, which captures his life and amazing journey in cinema, is directed by producer G. Dhananjayan, who bagged a National Award for his book Pride of Tamil Cinema.
