Aishwarya Dutta, Mahat roped in for a romcom

The movie is expected to go on floors mid Dec in areas like Kasimedu, Royapuram, Tondiarpet and other North Chennai areas.

Aishwarya Dutta and Mahat have suddenly become busy in K’town. They owe this to the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ hosted by Kamal Haasan. They were housemates and made their presence felt by their unusual ways. Now, we hear that they are teaming up for a romcom directed by Prabhu Ram.

Confirming the news, Prabhu Ram, who had assisted Hollywood filmmaker Randy Kent in the groundbreaking film Road King, says, “I was looking out for ‘thara local boy’ for my lead protagonist. I chanced upon Mahat on BB show and felt he would suit the character I had envisioned. He plays a guy from North Chennai, who is jobless and roams around with his friends. On the other hand, Aishwarya, who also belongs to the same locality, hails from an affluent family. She is highly educated. The conflicts that arise out of their meeting is narrated in an interesting manner. It is a fun filled entertainer.”

Actor Aadhav essays the antagonist. The movie is expected to go on floors mid December in areas like Kasimedu, Royapuram, Tondiarpet and other North Chennai areas. Mahat has also bagged a role in Simbu’s next film Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven in Sundar C’s direction.
