Director Priyadarshan’s Sila Samayangalil was in the news last month for making it to the prestigious Golden Globe awards screening. The film, starring Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy, Ashok Selvan and others, had its first premiere at the Mumbai International Film Festival (MAMI) on October 24.
The film received standing ovation from the crowd for its entertaining, yet moving take on AIDS.
Arulnithi welcomes a baby boy
Actor Arulnithi and his wife Keerthana welcomed a baby boy on October 25 at a private hospital in Chennai. An excited Arulnithi posted, “Super happy to let u all know....that I’m blessed with a baby boyyyyy” (sic). The couple entered marital bliss on June, 2015. The actor has wrapped up Radha Mohan’s Brindavanam and is looking forward for the release.
