GV Prakash to start a charitable trust for farmers
Music director-turned-actor GV Prakash is one of the few artistes who actively took part in the jallikattu protests. He travelled across the state and took part in the protests along with the youngsters. He composed a song, Kombu Vecha Singam Da with Arunraja Kamaraj’s lyrics which spoke highly about the valorous sport. The actor also announced that the proceeds from the song will be given to the farmers.
Now, that the protest has come to an end, GV Prakash has decided to concentrate on the welfare of farmers in the state. The Adangaathey actor has decided to start a charitable trust for the farmers and as the first deposit, he would be giving away his salary of a film. But it is a long process to start a charitable trust abiding the rules by the government. The multi-faceted actor has started working towards it and will be announcing further details once the charitable trust is set up.
