After the success of Oru Naal Koothu, Nivetha Pethuraj’s fame skyrocketed and a lot was expected from her upcoming films. However, her movie Podhuvaga En Manasu Thangam failed to do well at the box-office.
The actress is now eagerly awaiting the release of Tik Tik Tik, Tamil cinema’s first-ever space film directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan.
We had earlier reported that director Sumanth Radhakrishnan of Sadhuram 2 fame would be joining hands with Prabhudheva for a film. It was also said that the actor will be seen as an archeologist in the movie. Recently, the director met actress Nivetha Pethuraj for a discussion and it looks like the actress has agreed to work with the director. Taking to Facebook, Sumanth said, “Delighted to meet this girl who shares the mutual love and passion for cinema!#nivethapethuraj EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENTS SOON! I ‘ll comfortably say she is one of the best female performers I ve seen! ADIYE AZHAGE !” (sic)
An official announcement regarding Nivetha’s inclusion is yet to come. Prabhudheva was brought on board in March, but the film didn’t take off even after seven months. It looks the untitled movie is finally gaining some momentum.
