The Gautham Karthik and Nikki Galrani adult comedy-starrer, Hara Hara Maha Devaki, has been given an ‘A’ Certificate by Censor Board. The women censor officers, who watched the movie, said they thoroughly enjoyed it, claims director Santhosh Jayakumar.

“I was very particular that the script will not have anything degrading women or for that matter, any gender. The film projects what is happening with the present generation from their perspective in a realistic manner.”

Gautham Karthik, on his part, said, “Trailers or teasers are meant to lure the audiences and hence we have used a few gimmicks in it. But the film does not have anything vulgar or sleazy. The Censor Board did not have any objection because it is full-fledged situational comedy entertainer, which will be lapped up by youth. Nothing is forced in the film.”

The Rangoon actor has signed his next with the same director for Iruttu Arayil Murattu Kutthu, a title with many innuendos. When queried if he fears being stereotyped, pat he replies, “No, I don’t have any inhibitions. If you look at my career track, I have done various genres like action, drama and comedy. This is also a new attempt.”

Nikki also said that she was well-aware of what she speaks in the film. “It’s a fun- filled movie. I will not do a character, which insults my gender.”

When asked if the title Hara Hara... would face the wrath of Hindu community, Santhosh said, “We haven’t hurt or degraded any religion. HHMD is the name of a resort where the entire story unfolds. I don’t see any controversy arising out of the title.”
