Actor Atharvaa is one of the most promising youngsters with a bevy of films in his kitty. Irrespective of whether his films have been a hit or flop, Atharvaa has been poured with offers. The actor’s upcoming venture Imaikaa Nodigal which has an ensemble cast of Nayanthara, Anurag Kashyap and Raashi Khanna has sparked the curiosity of the audience.
At this point of time, a source in the know tells us that his film Rukkumini Vandi Varudhu, which was launched in 2015, is said to be shelved. “Director Rajamohan had completed 40 per cent of the movie. But, Atharvaa and producer Deepa Iyer had a fallout post which the shooting didn’t happen. Now, we hear that the former is not allotting dates to complete the flick. The film has a great script and it is sad to see this happen. The project is dropped, as far as I know,” reveals the source.
Rukkumini Vandi Varudhu boasts a huge cast including Pooja Jhaveri, SPB Charan, Thambi Ramaiah, ‘Poster’ Nandakumar and Nagendran.

Rukkumini Vandi Varudhu would have been a perfect debut for Telugu actress Pooja Jhaveri. Since the project is dropped, the actress is waiting for a right launch pad in Tamil. A source close to the actress says, “She has been receiving offers from directors in Kollywood, but is determined to choose the perfect script for her debut film.”
