Kamal, Vikram and Suriya used to go to any extent to change their looks and physique to suit the character they play in their movies. It appears now young stars also are game for it. Keerthi Suresh revealed that it took three hours of special makeup to get the perfect look of Savithri madam in Nadigayar Thilagam.
Atharvaa is yet another actor who is particular to look his part with the demands of the script. If he flaunted six-packs abs in Eeti, in his upcoming film Boomerang with Kannan, he sports three different looks. Reportedly, the actor had to endure many tough hours during the prosthetic makeover process.
“Award winning make-up technicians — Preetisheel Singh and Mark Troy D’Souza — are behind his amazing looks. They were here in the city spending 12 hours to get the right looks. The measurement process was so invoved that even the minutest detailing, including the shape of Atharvaa’s mouth was taken, apart from the measurement of eyes and nose. A kind of dough was applied to make the cast and Atharvaa had to keep himself confined in the ‘statue’ mode for five hours. Breathing became so difficult that a tiny tube was attached to his nose to ease his condition. Kudos to Atharvaa for sitting through the cumbersome process. Though unaware of what was happening, he felt happy and excited about the new experience,” says Kannan. Megha Akash plays his pair in the film.
