It’s well-known that the stunts of Shankar’s 2.0 will be choreographed by action producer Kenny Bates, who has previously worked on successful Hollywood films like Pearl Harbour and Transformers.
Bates joined the sets of 2.0 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, where the team was shooting action sequences sometime ago.
Director Shankar posted this picture on Twitter and wrote, “2.0 — with Kenny Bates action producer and Nirav shah DOP at Nehru stadium Delhi (sic).”
The film stars Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson, with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar playing the antagonist. AR Rahman will compose the music for the film.
Sources say that the next schedule of 2.0 will take place at a large set erected near VGP city, Chennai, and we hear the team also has plans to shoot key portions in Morocco and a few other foreign locales. Lyca Productions, which produced Vijay’s Kaththi, is bankrolling the project, and it is said that the film will be made at a cost of Rs 250 crore — that makes 2.0 the most expensive Indian film to date!
