When Kaththi released in 2014, it made headlines for several factors. Even though the film was appreciated for its thought-provoking content, the film was dragged into controversy as people accused Lyca Productions of being a Sri Lanka-based banner. Now, it looks like the trio is all set to reunite for Vijay’s 62nd film.
Earlier, we had reported that director AR Murugadoss will be teaming up with Vijay for the third time after Thuppakki and Kaththi. Sources reveal that the director has initiated talks for a possible project, but it will take time for the project to materialise. It was said that this venture will be produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films.
In recent developments, we hear that Lyca Productions will be bankrolling this venture. Talking to DC, Raju Mahalingam of Lyca Productions says, “The project is still in its nascent stage and as of now, AR Murugadoss has been brought on board.”
Currently, Vijay is gearing up to commence his upcoming film, which will be helmed by Atlee. Also, director AR Murugadoss is shooting for his Tamil-Telugu bilingual with Mahesh Babu, Rakul Preet Singh, Bharath and SJ Suryah. Watch this space for more!
