Kiruthiga Udhay to direct Vijay Antony?
Music composer turned hero, Vijay Antony, has carved a niche for himself by doing offbeat movies. Pichaikkaran became a huge hit in Tamil and Telugu, and also the subsequent Saithan raked in profits. These films made him a bankable hero in tinsel town. Even as he was gearing up with his next project, Yeman, a political action thriller, Radikaa Sarathkumar roped in Antony for a film which will be produced by her home banner.
Now, the latest buzz is that the Nakka Mukka composer has been approached for a movie, which will be helmed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, who makes a comeback after a three-year gap. Her debut film, Vanakkam Chennai, received a decent response from the critics in 2013.
However, when we contacted Kiruthiga, the short filmmaker-turned-director revealed that she was not in a position to confirm anything at this point of time. However, she did not deny the news either.
