We earlier reported that the lead heroes of Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan, including Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Sarath Kumar and Rahman, have been asked to grow their hair and beards as the story is about 10th century royalty.
Now, veteran supporting actor Mohan Raman, who is also part of PS, has corroborated our words! Shooting for PS commenced in Thailand last week.
Mohan Raman has posted a series of pictures with his new look and said, “Friends. This beard is for ponniyin selvan...... Will be there till June next year.” This also indicated that the shoot will continue till the that time.
