Dhansuh whose Maari 2 has just hit the theatres, has quickly moved on to his next. We reported earlier that the national award winner would be teaming up with his favourite director Vetri Maaaran once again for a film after Vada Chennai.
We also revealed that the new film would be a screen adaptation of celebrated political novel named ‘Vekkai’, originally written by Poomani.
Dhanush has officially announced the title of the film and released his first look from the movie. Titled Asuran, Dhanush has an interesting and intriguing look in the poster.
Kalaippuli S Thanu bankrolls Asuran for V Creations. Dhanush tweeted, “As #maari2’s success news is pouring in from everywhere, I’m delighted to announce my next with @VetriMaaran #Asuran . Will be produced by @theVcreations Thanu sir.”
Meanwhile, Dhanush has films with Ramkumar of Raatsasan fame and Mari Selvaraj who garnered lot of attention for his debut flick Pariyerum Perumal.
