The comedy horror film Dhillukku Dhuddu was a blockbuster hit of the comedian-turned-hero Santhanam. Now director Rambhala and Santhanam are back with a sequel of Dhillukku Dhuddu. The duo claims that DD2 will offer double the dose of chills and thrills. The first look revealed recently indicates it’s not just going to be one, but myriad horror stuff blended with humour.
The film features Shirtha Sivadas from Kerala playing the female lead role. Rambhala says, “We had to go through lots of auditions to finalise the heroine, as this characterisation happens to be a substantial one forming an important part of the film. And finally, Shirtha Sivadas fitted the bill.”
Others in the star-cast includes Motta Rajendran, Urvashi, Bipin of Jil Jung Juck fame, Ramar, Dhanasekar from Kalakapovathu Yaaruteam and standup comedian Ayyappa Baiju. Shabir composes the music and Deepak Kumar handles the cinematography.
