It looks like Dhanush’s Thodari and Vikram Prabhu’s Wagah will hit the theatres the same day — August 12. Directed by Prabhu Solomon of Kumki fame, Thodari spins the story of a pantry worker played by the Maari star, Dhanush.
Going by the trailer, the film has the scope for all the elements of a perfect entertainer. Keerthy Suresh, who was last seen in Rajini Murugan, plays the female lead in this movie, which has music by D Imman. The filmmakers had announced that its release would be in August. On the other hand, the makers of the Vikram Prabhu-starrer Wagah have locked August 12 as their release date.
Wagah is about a military man on the India-Pakistan border. GNR Kumaravelan, known for helming Haridas, has directed the action romance, which is currently in the post-production stage.
