Even as her debut film is yet to hit the marquee, the Bengaluru model turned actress Suma Poojari has three films in her kitty. She has signed yet another movie titled Neermulli, which has a complex and sensitive subject and its director Hitler claims that it will pave way to a silent revolution in the society.
Besides story, screenplay and direction, Hitler also plays the lead protagonist. “A romantic crime thriller, the film touches upon a contemporary subject on how women should safeguard themselves in difficult situations. It will bring awareness to the dangerous situations that women are in today," reveals the director. Neermulli is a plant full of thorns, but has great curative properties. I am using it as a metaphor here,” he adds. Veterans Rekha, Ponnambalam, Vagai Chandrasekhar, Imman Annachi, Nalini and director Agathiyan essay supporting roles.
