Australian cricketer and coach Dav Whatmore met Aishwarya Rajesh and wished her good luck for her upcoming film Kanaa where she essays an aspiring cricketer.
Dav had trained international cricketer teams of various countries and also had a coaching stint with Kolkata Knight Riders. He had posted a picture of their meeting on Instagram and wrote, “Sth Indian actress Ashy, good luck in your next.”
Directed by Arunraja Kamaraj, the film is the maiden production venture of actor Sivakarthikeyan. Veteran Sathyaraj plays Aishwarya’s dad who encourages her daughter in her vision.
It is not known whether she met Dav Whatmore to take training as well as tips for her character in Kanaa. On the career front, Aishwarya completed her film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, a multi-starrer with ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam recently.
