The legendary late actor SS Rajhendran's grandson SSR Aaryann debuts in Tamil cinema with a film titled Karutthukalai Padhivu Sei. Bengaluru model Upasana Rai, who is acting in a couple of films, has been roped in for the female lead. Rahul, who earlier did Jitthan 2 and 1 AM, directs the movie besides producing it in his RPM Cinemas banner. Director Rajashekar, who made films like Ya Ya and Paadam, pens the story, screenplay and dialogues.

Speaking about the film, Rahul says, "Many of us have gone through what has been told in the film. With the advent of technology and social media, how today's youngsters indulge in wrongful deeds is the crux of the story. Miscreants trap many young girls on these online platforms. There is a message to the youth of today."

The shooting, which started recently, will be completed in a single schedule and plans are on to release the movie in April, reveals Rahul. Ganesh Raghavendra will be composing the music.
