Manikandan’s Aandavan Kattalai saw the first time collaboration of Vijay Sethupathi and Ritika Singh. The film received positive responses from both critics and audiences. Also, people appreciated the chemistry that was brewing between the lead pair. Now, it is said that the duo might join hands for the second time.
We had reported that Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in Renigunta director Paneer Selvam’s upcoming film. Earlier, Keerthy Suresh was considered for the role. But, sources reveal that the team has now initiated talks with Ritika who is shooting for Shivalinga with Lawrence.
Director Paneer Selvam reveals, “Talks are on with Ritika and we will finalise the rest of the cast and crew in a couple of days. Also, Vijay Sethupathi will sport a different get-up in this village-based script. This untitled film is an action love story and will go on floors on December 15.”
According to reports, Vijay Sethupathi will wrap up the shooting of KV Anand’s Kavan before joining Paneer Selvam and team.
