Though Nayaki received a lukewarm response, Trisha has now moved on to her next and she is currently on a signing spree. The svelte actress earlier confirmed playing the lead in Sathuranga Vettai 2, a sequel to the earlier blockbuster with the same name. Arvind Swamy, who is in demand post his negative role in Thani Oruvan, will be seen essaying the male lead.
While the first part dealt with a rural scam, with Bollywood cinematographer-turned-hero Natraj playing the conman, the sequel is an urban-centric flick with Arvind Swamy replacing Natraj.
However, the VTV star and Arvind are not paired opposite each other — and portray parallel roles in SV2, directed by Nirmal Kumar of Saleem fame. Veteran filmmaker/actor Manobala, who turned producer with SV, is all set to make the second part too.
