Alphonse Puthren in B'Town?

His blockbuster Malayalam film Premam has already been remade in Telugu with Naga Chaitanya, and is set to release soon.

Alphonse Puthren is planning to remake one of his films in Hindi — and the director seems to have a problem in choosing between Premam and Neram for the remake! He has thus asked his fans to come up with their suggestions on Facebook, writing, “For those who have watched my films it will be a different narration again. So now would you wanna watch neram, premam or something new in Hindi ? Openly tell me. :) :) :) :) I’m in Mumbai the third time. I need prayers, blessings and open discussions regarding my next film” (sic.) His blockbuster Malayalam film Premam has already been remade in Telugu with Naga Chaitanya, and is set to release soon.

No Thodari in Bengaluru
Tamil star Dhanush’s upcoming film Thodari was meant to release on September 22 (Thursday) in Bengaluru. But that has not happened and might lead to a heavy loss for the makers, since Bengaluru is a big center for Tamil movies. The ongoing Cauvery issue has created a divide between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

As a result, none of the Tamil films have managed to get a release in the state since September 5. Even Vikram’s Iru Mugan failed to release and suffered losses as a result.
