Karikalan
Karikalan, who’s played the villain in over 70 Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films and who’s directed a film called Vairavan, has now turned to production. He recently launched his own banner and announced he would be making ten films in one year. Talking to media persons, he said, “Cinema is the biggest tool through which we can impart good values. All along, I have played the menacing villains in my films. But I want to make clean family entertainers with social messages. I want my films to be free of violence and sleaze. At the same time, they won’t be preachy.”
