Shreya Ghoshal's praise for budding composer

Moses started his career as a keyboard player in a church in his native town.

Popular Bollywood singer Shreya Ghoshal, who is equally loved in Tamil cinema, heaped praises on upcoming composer Moses, when she rendered a melodious number for the Anjali-starrer Kaanbhadhi Poi.

Moses started his career as a keyboard player in a church in his native town and later learnt music and got a degree from Madurai’s Music College. After coming to Chennai, he composed 40 devotional albums before joining forces with composer Sathya.

He has now turned independent and bagged two flicks, Ennodu Vilayaadu and Kaanbadhu Poi. EV features Bharath, Kathir, and Sanchitha Shetty in the lead roles, and is directed by Arun Krishnaswamy.

“Arun asked me to give tunes for three different situations in the script. He was extremely satisfied with my work and he signed me for the project. Kaanbadhu… It is a female centric film and has lot of scope for music,” he says. “Shreya Ghoshal crooned a number which was shot with Anjali. Shreya ma’am was so excited about my composition that she called and congratulated me, saying that the song has come out well,” he adds.
