After penning dialogues and playing the lead role of an aged man for his debut production venture Orange Mittai — which received a lukewarm response at the box office — Vijay Sethupathi is once again writing the dialogues besides bankrolling his next film titled Chennai Palani Mars.
The Dharmadurai actor has roped in Orange Mittai director Biju Vishwanath again to wield the megaphone for CPM. Touted to be a rural black comedy with space connection, the film will not feature Sethupathi and has all newcomers in the lead. Debutants Pravin Raja, Rajesh Giri Prasad, Vasanth Marimuthu, Imtias Mohamed, Win Hathri, Paari Ilavazhagan play the lead roles.
It will be a fun filled travel adventure entertainer, says Biju who has also taken the onus of cinematography and editing, besides direction. VSP introduces Niranjan Babu as music composer. One may recall Sethu has also agreed to pen the script for a sports film starring Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth.
