Mysshkin throws a surprise party to celebrate maverick filmmaker Shankar's 25 years of completion in the film industry. Several top filmmakers including Mani Ratnam, Gautham Menon, Lingusamy, Mohan Raja, Pa Ranjith, Ezhil, Sasi, Pandiraj, and all assistants of Shankar who are big now like Atlee, Vasanta Balan, Balaji Sakthivel were present on the occasion sporting identical S 25 Blue T shirts.
Shankar came to cinema to make it big as an actor. However, he ended up assisting directors SA Chandrasekar and later Pavithran before himself turning a director with the 1993 movie Gentleman.
Reportedly, Mysskin surprised Shankar by presenting him 25 unique gifts on the occasion. Before opening the wrapper, Mysshkin asked the other directors to guess the name of the gift and the right guesses were awarded `2000. It was Pandiraj who managed to win a `2000 note from him. When Shankar asked for the 26th gift, Mysskin said everyone should hug and kiss the 2.O filmmaker, which was his 26th gift.
