Santhanam’s career growth in the film industry has been inspirational to many. Having started off as a small screen artiste, his transition into a mass hero was phenomenal to watch. Now, the actor has a spate of projects in his bag which will prove his acting mettle.
Recently, the actor has wrapped up the shoot of director Anand Balki’s Server Sundaram. Close sources to the actor reveal, “Santhanam completed his portions for the movie on Thursday in the city. He will now focus on his other projects — Sakka Podu Podu Raja, Odi Odi Uzhaikanum, Mannavan Vandhanadi and director Rajesh’s untitled film.”
For two of his upcoming films, Santhanam will be travelling to few scenic locations in the US and UK. “The introduction song of Sakka Podu Podu Raja produced by VTV Ganesh will be shot in the US and Georgia. The makers of director Selvaraghavan's Mannavan Vandhanadi are planning to shoot important scenes in Poland. At present, he will be concentrating on these two projects,” the source adds.
Post the schedule abroad, he will resume work on Manikandan's Odi Odi Uzhaikanum, in which he is paired opposite Amyra Dastur. The source went on to say, “Once these three films are completed, Santhanam will move on to director Rajesh’s yet-to-be-titled project.”
