After portraying the larger-than-life character Amarendra Baahubali in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise, Prabhas became a global star.
The whole world is waiting with bated breath for the release of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. The actor, who has invested more than four years for the film, has announced his next film much to the elation of his fans.
The makers, UV Creations, who are bankrolling Prabhas’s next project, revealed the title as Saaho, which will be a trilingual in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
Unlike his Baahubali series, where the actor undertook rigourous training to get into the skin of his character, in Saaho, Prabhas will be seen as a cop. The film is touted to be an action romantic thriller and boasts some of the biggest names from Indian cinema as its cast.
Besides Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy for music and Amitabh Bhattacharya penning the lyrics, cinematographer Madhie and production designer Sabu Cyril, have been roped in. It is said that acclaimed action choreographers will be working in the movie for the action sequences.
Interestingly, Saaho has a connection with Baahubali as the title song of the movie begins with the lyrics Saaho Re Baahubali. The teaser of Saaho will be out alongside Baahubali: The Conclusion’s release on April 28.
