When smoking scenes always invite the wrath of self-styled patrons of moral policing and politicians, here is filmmaker and actor Cheran, whose films normally hail family relationships and values and who has taken a new avatar in his upcoming emotional thriller Rajavukku Check, where he is sporting a cigarette and wielding a gun.
Raj Kumar who did films like Mazhai with Jayam Ravi and Hello Premistara in Telugu returns to wielding the megaphone with a new name Sai Rajkumar. “Cheran sir is known for his family oriented roles. Here in Rajavukku…, he essays a never seen before character on screen. He accepted the role knowing well that it is very challenging to pull it off. The movie will be a new experience for the audiences,” claims Rajkumar.
People who saw a sneak peek of the movie could not believe it when they saw Cheran playing a dare devilish character in the fast paced action film.
