Ambasamudram has been recreated in Chennai for Suriya’s next with Selvaraghavan, tentatively titled Suriya 36. About 220 workers from the art department under art director Vijaymurugan’s supervision are working day and night creating a Rs 3 crore set replicating the picturesque town in Tirunelveli.
Sources reveal that Selva has planned a major chunk of the shoot here. Rakul and Sai Pallavi are expected to join Suriya for this schedule. It is learnt that the first schedule of the shoot is over and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has already recorded the songs for the film. There are two heroines and both have equal bearing in the script, says a source from the unit.
Designer Neeraja Kona is in charge of styling for Suriya and the two lead ladies. Sivakumar Vijayan is behind the camera. Produced by SR Prabhu’s Dream Warrior Pictures, the action thriller is slated for Deepavali release.
