Ace filmmaker SA Chandrashekar turns hero with the film Nayyapudai, which also features Pa Vijay and Chandini in lead roles. At the trailer launch of his film, where Raadhika Sarathkumar was the chief guest, SAC said, “I am a bit short-tempered and used to hit my assistants out of affection and to extract the best from them.” The director was also all praise for Raadhika and recalled how mischievous she used to be on the sets, by quoting a few incidents. Lyricist Pa Vijay called her the ‘CM of Chinna Thirai’, which SAC reiterated later in his speech.
It was Raadhika’s speech that drew everyone’s attention. The actress sharing memorable moments working with SAC in many films said, “I know him for a very long time. He is more like my family. He expects perfection from everyone and he shouts at everybody except me. I was in his good books. Vijayakanth has also got a beating from him several times. He used to be very quiet on the sets. Having said that, I think Vijayakanth learnt this habit of hitting people from SA sir only!” Raadhika remarked, getting thunderous applause from the huge gathering.
