A short film on modern slavery Switch has caught the attention of many. YouCanFreeUs, a foundation that fights against this menace in the present day scenario has released a 90 second short film called Switch to raise awareness and concern for this problem.
Actor Suriya, who always strive for education for deprived children through his Agaram Foundation had watched Switch and posted it on his social media handle and requested people to share it. “40 million people in modern slavery. The short begins with a massive container kept in an arterial road and passersby seem unaware of it as they are busy with their own chores. Finally, a schoolgirl opens the latch after hearing the tapping sound from inside. Initially, she finds a girl of her age and when she opens it fully, there are several girls inside in the dark.
